Returns & Refund Policy

At Daltik, we are committed to ensuring you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Our returns and refunds process is simple, transparent, and strictly adheres to the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which provides mandatory consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded.
1. Compliance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
The ACL, set out in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), provides consumers with mandatory guarantees. You are entitled to a refund or replacement for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
A. Major Failure
A "major failure" includes goods that are unsafe, significantly different from the sample or description, or unfit for their purpose.

Your Right: If a product has a major failure, you have the right to choose between a full refund or a replacement product.

Cost: Daltik will bear all reasonable costs associated with returning the faulty item, including return shipping costs.
B. Minor Failure
A "minor failure" is a fault that can be fixed within a reasonable time.

Our Obligation: If a product has a minor failure, Daltik retains the right to choose to either repair the goods, replace the goods, or refund the purchase price.
C. Proof of Purchase
All returns and warranty claims require a valid proof of purchase (e.g., order number or confirmation email).
2. Our "Change of Mind" Guarantee
In addition to your legal rights under the ACL, Daltik offers a comprehensive "Change of Mind" guarantee.
Exclusions: We cannot accept returns for items that have been worn, washed, or had tags removed. For hygiene and safety reasons, we also cannot accept returns for specific items (e.g., swimwear, undergarments) if the original packaging or protective seals (where applicable) have been tampered with or removed.
3. The Returns Process
To ensure a smooth and prompt resolution, please follow these steps:

Initiate Contact: Email us immediately at

or use our Contact Us page. Please include your Order Number, the item name, and the reason for the return (Faulty/Change of Mind). - Assessment: We will assess your request and, if applicable, provide you with a return merchandise authorization (RMA) and instructions on where to send the product.
- Return Shipping: We will provide you with a return label or code to send the package to our designated Australian collection point. (Note: Return shipping costs are covered by Dalkit only in cases of major or minor failure, as per Section 1).
- Inspection and Resolution: Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund/replacement request.
Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 Business Days and credited back to your original method of payment.
4. Other Important Notes
- Damaged in Transit: If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, this is generally considered a major failure under the ACL. You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery, providing clear photographic evidence of the damage to the item and the packaging.
- Fulfillment Model: As noted in our Shipping Policy and Terms of Service, Dalkit handles all returns and refunds directly. You do not need to contact our international fulfillment partners; Dalkit is your sole point of contact.
